Trump backs NASA’s Moon return with $10B, sidelining Elon Musk’s Mars mission.

SpaceX’s reusable tech clashes with NASA’s costly Moon-first plan. A major shift in U.S. space priorities!

I think that it would profitable to go back to the moon and build a moon base to be used as a relay station to Mars. Also would be used as a comm center ect. The profitability would be endless.

  2. This is awesome!!🎖
Glad to see our dear President Trump and our great ” Tech genuis” Elon Musk, working put any past issues, resuming their good relationship!! For the sake of , ” make America great again “!!
So proud of these two great gentlemen
    After all,
” one nation under God, with liberty and justice for all”!!!

  3. Just don’t fuck up anything else. Isn’t the earth enough for you, you crochety, miserable old man…

  4. Why would you do that? First of all i dont have a clue what happened between you two ! Why can’t you just sit down and talk like two friends use too! He thought you were his friend! Just like you thought he was! Don’t make me have to get involved in this, when I know you can do better! That goes for both of you !!! God Bless!

  5. We know what’s on the moon President Trump. Presidents are suppose to put vengeance behind them and progress first. This is very inmature if you ask me. Mars is exactly like the Earth. Why wouldn’t you want to explore its obsions? Move ahead not back up. It’s very exciting that a Planet has been discovered that is Earths twin! Wow

  6. We don’t need to spend any funds for the moon. We have t even explored the riches under our ocean and stop polluting it with garage. Only greed puts the moon above carrying for our earth that we ruining and polluting. Shame on every single one of you who venture into space. Even if we did go to the moon, which I doubt, what did we accomplish. It is our money you are wasting instead of creating a safe means to clean up our garbage!

  7. Oh please, use this money for those whose needs are so much greater than NASA.

God knows where the moon is and if there is something Earth needs, He does not use revenge.

Talk to God before deciding anything.

    Thank you.

Mars remains a childhood mystery for many of us. The “man in the moon” was too, until 1969 and we learnt that it was an interesting sphere of rocks and dust. Same with Mars, but it is grossly more difficult than the moon to reach, leave, grow anything or live there. Fascinating images and science teach us these things. So why does someone want to go there? “Because it’s there” crap does not cut it.
That’s because the pale blue dot world needs fixing urgently and hugely right now. So the resources needed to do the Mars thing would be stupendous, and on-going, and should be used to correct Earth’s current issues, not stumble around Mars.
Anyway, Earth’s present climate/environment trajectory may well bring Mars-like conditions to earth, making a Mars trip unnecessary.
